Both 2007 Warrior Run graduates, Eric and Meghan (Burrows) Solomon, owners of the Wagging Tail Coffee Company, recently shared their reason for supporting the First Century Fund ...

“Our decision to make this gift was based on our desire to assist the Warrior Run School District in efforts to provide new and meaningful ways to develop the futures of our district’s students. As graduates ourselves, local business owners, and parents of current students we’re proud to call this district home and we look forward to seeing the district thrive into the future.”

You may be a:

  • WR graduate
  • Business owner
  • WR parent
  • WR grandparent
  • Community member

Or anyone who wants the WRSD to thrive.

I Made My Decision – Count Me In!

1. WHAT DO DOLLARS TO THE FOUNDATION PROVIDE? Specialized staff training, state-of-the-art equipment, supplementary academic materials, conference attendance, room accessories, student experiences that broaden and open minds.

2. WHY ARE ADDITIONAL FUNDS NEEDED? Education is expensive! Your tax dollars and PA state support do not provide enough funds to provide extended opportunities for students and staff. Resources are stretched as economically as possible by public school boards educating all students who come to their doors.

3. CAN THE FOUNDATION DO MORE? Yes, we want to! With increased funds and smart financial planning, the Foundation with your help will make a major annual difference in student learning for years to come.

4. HOW CAN I HELP? Contribute any amount, consider a major gift and naming opportunity, buy an engraved brick, designate the use of your $5000 donation, join with others to give together and designate a room or area in honor of someone. Be proud of your decision!

5. WHAT ELSE??? Spread this Defender Pride news — many connected to WR do not yet know about this successful effort. They will be glad you told them, and so will we! THANK YOU!!
