The Warrior Run Community Education Foundation has publicly launched a $1.5 million fundraising campaign to benefit the Warrior Run School District.

This week marks the beginning of the 2024-25 school year for Warrior Run students and staff.

The Warrior Run Community Education Foundation (WRCEF) will once again participate in Raise the Region, the 30-hour online fundraising event.

The Mission of the WRCEF is to support the Warrior Run School District in ways that create more opportunities to lift high WR students, educators and the district.

LET’S TAKE A LOOK! How have past grants become reality for students and teachers?

Near the Field House now stands a tall, wide Super LED Video Display Board being prepared for fall sports. Videos, advertising, athlete images, statistics, and SOUND.

Spring sports are in full gear with special commemoration focused this month on the WRSD softball and baseball fields.

The First Century Fund has reached $1.26 million toward its $1.5 million goal, with opportunities for donations, naming recognition, and personalized engraved bricks through the Defender Brick Program at DefenderBricks.com.

As spring approaches, we appreciate the giving decisions of donors in the new year. New donors, new brick orders, and past pledges are being honored, including a Major Gift pledge as two graduates support the Blue & Gray Challenge for alumni.

Both 2007 Warrior Run graduates, Eric and Meghan (Burrows) Solomon, owners of the Wagging Tail Coffee Company, recently shared their reason for supporting the First Century Fund.

Here WRHS students greet elementary students starting their Friday. New decisions are creating new practices, new connections. The first elementary pep rally? Just walk across the bridge to the high school!

Honored recently were WR grads, Sarah and Joe Kowalski. Through their major financial gift to the First Century Fund Campaign, the field hockey field is now permanently named Kowalski Field Hockey Field.

You can now donate through the new DEFENDER BRICKS fundraiser! These engraved bricks will contain your personalized message and be visible permanently in the Celebration Gallery.

In 2022, the Warrior Run Community Education Foundation approved $11,000 in Classroom Innovation Grants.

The Warrior Run Community Education Foundation is excited to be a beneficiary of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania’s RAISE THE REGION 2023, a special 30-hour online fundraiser supporting worthy non-profit organizations.

Our students deserve the best we can provide. Thanks to the WR graduates from the classes who have already supported the First Century Fund.

This week the WR Community Education Foundation gathered with the LU CLUB at Turbotville Elementary School and gifted THE LU PROJECT with $15,000 to help fund the interactive playground for the opening of the new Warrior Run Elementary School.
