Honored recently were WR grads, Sarah and Joe Kowalski. Through their major financial gift to the First Century Fund Campaign, the field hockey field is now permanently named KOWALSKI FIELD HOCKEY FIELD. A plaque will be placed near the Field House entrance with their quote — “PLAY FOR LOVE OF THE GAME.” Mr. and Mrs. Kowalski, became field hockey fans watching their 6 Biddle Family nieces play on past WR teams. Mrs. Kowalski was a former WR high school principal. Here they are joined by WR Athletic Director Greg Watson.
