Warrior Run Defenders Field

As spring approaches, we appreciate the giving decisions of donors in the new year. New donors, new brick orders, and past pledges are being honored, including a Major Gift pledge as two graduates support the Blue & Gray Challenge for alumni.

Brother and Sister Graduates Pledge $100,000 Auditorium Naming Opportunity

Jim Enterline, WR Class of 1964, and sister Sharon Enterline Becker, WR Class of 1965, have entered an agreement with the Foundation that entitles them to the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium naming designation as part of the First Century Fund campaign. The Foundation Board thanks them for their decision regarding this Major Gift $100,000 5-Year Pledge.

Jim toured the school last year with Supt. Dr. Thor Edmiston and learned of the renovations planned for various areas of the school. A resident of Virginia, he owns E-Line Express trucking company, which delivers to the Marshall Department Stores in Virginia and is run by his children and their families.

Sharon lives in central PA and worked in Penn State University’s administrative office for nearly 40 years. Looking back, Sharon comments that “after having been out in the workplace, I recognize that I got a really good education at Warrior Run and like the idea of supporting the district.”

Jim expressed the desire to connect to a space he was part of as a student in the early 60s. Thus their pledge connects them with the same auditorium they experienced when the new Jr/Sr High School opened in 1959. Thanks for the generosity of these Warrior Run graduates as they invest through the Foundation in education at Warrior Run.
